ACTIVITIES AUGUST - SEPTEMBER 2011

TEAM HARMONY / CONVIVENCIA DE EQUIPOS
Before moving to our area of work the brothers decided to thank the team Izcalli. Organize a day of living in a beautiful park within the city, this allowed us to learn from the Word of God, play games, eat very rich and thus form more bonds of friendship between the mission teams.

Antes de trasladarnos a nuestra zona de trabajo decidimos agradecer a los hermanos del equipo Izcalli. Organizamos un día de convivencia en un parque muy bonito dentro de la ciudad, esto nos permitió aprender de la palabra de Dios, divertirnos con juegos, comer muy rico y formar así mayores lazos de amistad entre los equipos misioneros.














CHURCH BUILDING / EDIFICIO PARA LA IGLESIA
After a long walk to find the best area to start the new church, after having surveyed different areas, and thoroughly search the premises that we believe will be best for the church to meet, God answered our prayers by showing us a place that met the most of the selection criteria to create a list to choose the best place. We managed to sign the lease of the premises and the work of decoration and installation of necessary equipment have begun, everything will be ready for the inaugural service this coming October 2. Take this opportunity to cordially invite you to the first worship service that will do as a church.

Después de caminar mucho para encontrar el área más conveniente para iniciar la nueva iglesia, después de haber encuestado diferentes zonas, y buscar exhaustivamente el local que consideramos será el mejor para que la iglesia se reúna, Dios contestó nuestras oraciones mostrándonos un lugar que reunió la mayor parte de los criterios de selección que creamos en una lista para poder escoger el mejor lugar. Ya conseguimos firmar el contrato de arrendamiento del local y los trabajos de decoración e instalación del equipo necesario han comenzado, todo estará listo para el servicio inaugural este próximo 02 de octubre. Oportunidad que aprovecho para invitarlos muy cordialmente al primer servicio de adoración que realizaremos como iglesia.













MOVE / MUDANZA
We begin our third month in Mexico in the house we live for a long time, this new home is located 15 minutes from the church building as a set of 5000 homes, this area has established 7 years and is inhabited mainly by young families with young children are also many young people, and one church for the whole house. This is a good place to make many contacts, we expect many souls for Christ in our neighbors.

Iniciamos nuestro tercer mes en México en la casa que habitaremos por mucho tiempo, esta nueva casa se ubica a 15 minutos del edificio de la iglesia en un conjunto como de 5000 casas, esta zona tiene 7 años de establecida y es habitada principalmente por familias jóvenes con hijos pequeños, también se ven muchos jóvenes, y con una sola iglesia para todo el conjunto de casas. Este es un buen lugar para hacer muchos contactos, esperamos que haya muchas almas para Cristo de nuestros vecinos.






GREAT BLESSING / GRAN BENDICION
Thanks to God and the Singing Oaks Church of Christ We have blessings of a car this helping us to move with my family, we visited the brothers in Church of Christ near our area of work, greater recognition of the place, we travel more places to quote and buy supplies for the church, in short, is a blessing that is very helpful for my family, thank you very much dear friends at Singing Oaks.

Gracias a Dios y a la iglesia de Cristo en Singing Oaks logramos hacer la compra de un carro que nos está ayudando mucho para trasladarnos con mi familia, hemos visitado hermanos de la iglesia de Cristo cercana a nuestra zona de trabajo, mayor reconocimiento del lugar, recorremos mas lugares para cotizar y comprar lo necesario para la iglesia, en fin, es una bendición que es de mucha ayuda para mi familia, muchas gracias queridos hermanos en Singing Oaks.



WORSHIP SERVICES IN HOME / CULTOS DOMINICALES EN CASA
The last Sunday of August began with worship in the homes of all missionaries to our neighbors aware of our mission, so they know how to develop the worship and knowing that motivate them to study the Bible. On the first Sunday service we have the presence of 3 adults and 4 children of missionary families join 18 people, and we have had more assists neighbors becoming 27 people. At the end of the service eat together, each brings something to share making a very pleasant atmosphere of harmony, and finally all going to play in the park with our children. I believe God is preparing the hearts of these people to be part of his church.

El último domingo de agosto iniciamos con cultos de adoración en las casas de todos los misioneros; para que nuestros vecinos conozcan nuestra misión, para que sepan cómo desarrollamos los cultos de adoración y conociendo esto motivarlos para estudiar la Biblia. En el primer servicio dominical contamos con la presencia de 3 adultos y cuatro niños mas las familias de los misioneros sumamos 18 personas, y hemos tenido mas asistencias de vecinos llegando a ser 27 personas. Al final del servicio comemos todos juntos, cada uno trae algo para compartir haciendo un ambiente de armonía muy agradable, y por último vamos todos a jugar al parque con nuestros hijos. Creo que Dios está preparando el corazón de estas personas para que sean parte de su iglesia.












UPCOMING ACTIVITIES / PROXIMAS ACTIVIDADES
1. Invitations to inaugural service. On Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 (afternoon) September 4000 we will handing out invitations to all the neighbors to know the beginning of the Church of Christ in the area.
2. Weekly activities for the new church. From October we will have Bible study meetings, youth, women, and other activities that foster spiritual growth of the church in the church building.
3. Visit contacts. Visit all the friends who attend the inaugural service.
4. Study materials. We are preparing materials related to Bible classes in the church building materials, evangelism, discipleship, small groups and children's ministry.

1. Invitaciones para culto inaugural. El sábado 24 y domingo 25 (por la tarde) de septiembre saldremos a repartir 4000 invitaciones a todos los vecinos para que conozcan del inicio de la iglesia de Cristo en la zona.
2. Actividades semanales de la nueva iglesia. A partir de octubre tendremos reuniones de estudios bíblicos, para jóvenes, damas, y otras actividades que fomenten el crecimiento espiritual de la iglesia en el edificio de la iglesia.
3. Visitar contactos. Visitar a todos los amigos que asistan al servicio inaugural.
4. Materiales de estudio. Estaremos preparando materiales relacionados a clases bíblicas en el edificio de la iglesia, materiales de evangelismo, discipulado y ministerio infantil.

ACTIVITIES JUNE - JULY 2011

ARRIVAL TO MEXICO - LLEGADA A MEXICO

After a timeout by the Mexican visas finally got the trip as expected. With sadness and tears to leave the church where we were born and grow, and our very dear family began the journey to Mexico City to join the mission team waiting for us. We arrived on Sunday 19 June 2011 to begin this great mission.


Después de un tiempo de espera por las visas mexicanas finalmente conseguimos hacer el viaje tan esperado. Con tristeza y lágrimas por dejar la iglesia que nos vio nacer y crecer, y también a nuestra muy querida familia iniciamos el recorrido hacia ciudad de México para sumarnos al equipo misionero que esperaba por nosotros. Llegamos el domingo 19 de Junio del año 2011 para dar comienzo a esta gran misión.






SHARING WITH THE FIRST TEAM - COMPARTIENDO CON EL PRIMER EQUIPO

My family and I are part of the second mission team to Mexico City. The first team started its work in January 2010, we are blessed that they are very good friends of our team. We are having a good time with them and also learn from their experiences. They have given us the privilege of serving the church in the direction of praise, classes and help them in their Vacation Bible School this year.
Mi familia y yo somos parte del segundo equipo misionero para la ciudad de México. El primer equipo inició su trabajo en enero 2010, tenemos la bendición que ellos son muy buenos amigos de todo nuestro equipo. Estamos pasando un buen tiempo con ellos y a la vez aprendemos de sus experiencias. Ellos nos han dado el privilegio de servir a la iglesia en la dirección de cantos, clases y colaborar a ellos en su escuela bíblica vacacional de este año.











ORGANIZING WORK - ORGANIZANDO EL TRABAJO

Among the many emotions of joy at being together again with all the mission team and be on the mission field and see the beauty of Mexico have begun the planning stages of the first activities. Our daily schedule is developed in three parts, first began the day with a devotional gives us much spiritual encouragement, then we have a time of Bible study, and the third part of our agenda develops ideas and arrangements for work . The activities for the first month are listed below


Work for the first month (July 2011)
1. Develop survey
2. Rates of transport costs for preliminary route
3. Travel to delineate areas to be surveyed
4. Make-shirts to identify in surveys
5. Survey areas of potential growth and new
6. Finding new premises for the church meeting
7. Search for homes near the church building for the missionaries.


Entre muchas emociones de alegría por estar juntos de nuevo con todo el equipo misionero y por estar en el campo de la misión y ver la belleza de México; hemos dado inicio a la etapa de planeación de las primeras actividades. Nuestra agenda diaria se desarrolla en tres partes, primero iniciamos el día con un devocional que nos da mucho ánimo espiritual, después tenemos un tiempo de estudio de la Biblia, y la tercera parte de nuestra agenda se desarrolla en ideas y acuerdos para el trabajo. Las actividades para el primer mes son detalladas a continuación
Trabajo para el primer mes (Julio 2011)
1. Elaborar encuesta
2. Cotizaciones de gastos de transporte para recorrido preliminar
3. Recorrido para delimitar zonas a encuestar
4. Hacer playeras para identificarnos durante las encuestas
5. Realizar encuestas en zonas nuevas y de potencial crecimiento
6. Búsqueda de nuevo local de reuniones para la iglesia
7. Búsqueda de viviendas para los misioneros que estén cercanas al local de reuniones



















ADAPTATION TO MEXICO - ADAPTACIÓN A MEXICO

The brothers first team have been a blessing for us, made us feel at home. Mexicans are very nice people also offered sincere friendship. In less than two weeks with the help of God we get a temporary home, a nice home in an area with temperate climate and many parks around. The health of my wife and my daughters are good, we are faithful witnesses to the love of God in our lives because we are very strong to start the job. We achieved good time with the team and some fellow church of the first team, while we have served to encourage us to unity.

Los hermanos del primer equipo han sido de mucha bendición para nosotros, nos han hecho sentir como en casa. Los mexicanos también son personas muy agradables que ofrecen sincera amistad. En menos de dos semanas con la ayuda de Dios logramos conseguir un hogar temporal, es una casa bonita en una zona con clima templado y muchos parques alrededor. La salud de mi esposa y mis hijas es buena, estamos siendo testigos fieles del amor de Dios en nuestras vidas, porque nos sentimos muy fortalecidos para iniciar el trabajo. Hemos conseguido buen tiempo con el equipo y con algunos hermanos de la iglesia del primer equipo, tiempo que nos has servido para estimularnos a la unidad.












UPCOMING ACTIVITIES - PROXIMAS ACTIVIDADES


1. During the month of August will work for renting the premises and set a date for the inaugural service.
2. Preparing to move to permanent housing.
3. Enroll our children in school for the next school term that starts the third week of August.
4. Prepare publicity for the church (logo, printed stationery).

Dear brothers, we are confident that God is blessing us and so the mission will be successful. Thanks to the elders of the church, the brothers of the missions committee, all staff serving the church, the church at large for their prayers and support God's work.


1. Durante el mes de agosto trabajaremos por rentar el local y definir fecha para el servicio inaugural.
2. Prepararnos para mudarnos a una vivienda permanente
3. Inscribir a nuestros hijos en la escuela para el próximo período escolar que inicia la tercera semana de agosto.
4. Preparar publicidad para la iglesia (logo, papelería impresa)

Queridos hermanos tenemos mucha confianza que Dios nos está bendiciendo y por eso la misión será exitosa. Gracias a los ancianos de la iglesia, a los hermanos del comité de misiones, a todo el personal que sirve a la iglesia, a la iglesia en general por sus oraciones y apoyo a la obra de Dios.
